Wrap your water heater in an insulation blanket You’ll save 1,000 pounds of carbon dioxide a year with this simple action. You can save another 550 pounds per year by setting the thermostat no higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can you please provide some data or calculations to support your water heater recomendations?
Also, I would warn your readers that lowering the water heater thermostat below 120F is not recommended due to the development of legionella in the tank and water lines. Actually, 120F seems to be the best compromise between energy use and scalding prevention while maintaining healthy water.
